Michel RhéaumeLawyer, LL.M. Tax, MBA

Michel Rhéaume is President of Groupe Rhéaume, where he leads the group’s strategy, acquisitions and real-estate development. He is a co-founder of GuyWay, in Georgetown, Guyana.

A lawyer by training and an entrepreneur, Michel combines legal and tax expertise with operating experience in investment, real estate and international trade. Before taking over the group, he worked at a major law firm and at an international accounting firm, where he developed an understanding of transactional, regulatory and cross-border matters.

Michel is a member of the Bar and holds an MBA from the University of Oxford (St Edmund Hall), a master’s in tax law from HEC Montréal, and a civil law degree Summa Cum Laude from the University of Ottawa. He is a member of the Barreau du Québec, the Association de planification fiscale et financière (APFF) and the Canadian Tax Foundation (CTF).
