Person in charge of the protection of personal information
Michel Rhéaume, President of Groupe Rhéaume, acts as the person in charge of the protection of personal information within the meaning of Law 25.
You may reach him at info@grouperheaume.com with any question, request or complaint concerning your personal information.
What this site collects
This site has no forms, no accounts and no sign-up. It never asks for your name, address or contact details.
We use aggregate audience measurement that sets no cookies and does not follow you between sites. It records the page viewed, the referring link, the country, the device type and the browser. It cannot identify you and feeds no advertising.
If you write to us, we receive your email address and the contents of your message. That is the only personal information we obtain from you, and you provide it voluntarily.
Why we collect it and how long we keep it
Audience measurement is used solely to understand which pages are read, so the site can be improved.
Emails are kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and to maintain our records, then destroyed. They are never sold, rented or traded.
We make no decision about you based exclusively on automated processing, and we use no profiling, location-tracking or identification technology.
Information processed outside Québec
This site is hosted by Vercel Inc., whose servers are located outside Québec. The technical data needed to serve pages, and the audience measurement, are therefore processed there.
Emails you send us are handled by our mail provider, whose servers may also be located outside Québec.
Before any communication of personal information outside Québec, we carry out the privacy impact assessment required by Law 25.
Your rights
You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected if it is inaccurate, incomplete or ambiguous, and to ask for its deletion where the law allows.
You may withdraw your consent at any time, ask that information cease to be disseminated, and receive the computerised information you provided to us in a structured technological format.
Write to info@grouperheaume.com. We respond within thirty days.
If our response does not satisfy you, you may complain to the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec, at cai.gouv.qc.ca.
Confidentiality incidents
In the event of a confidentiality incident presenting a risk of serious injury, we promptly notify the Commission d’accès à l’information and the individuals concerned, and we record the incident in a register, as Law 25 requires.
